Goodbye Chester.
Note to self must return with some girly friends to do some serious retail therapy!!
Approaching Tarvin Lock
Always good to share a lock.
Before we know it we are back at Beeston to rest for the night.
A bright cold morning dawns and we have a locking partner for the day.
Spot of one out one in = lots of hands on deck!!!
Along with Mr Strimmer.
Bunbury Staircase Lock and we have to moor up - confusion reigns.....
Hirer's Anglo Welsh moor 3 abreast, there is 1 boat waiting to go up and 2 already in the lock....
Not to mention this nice man from Canal & River Trust who had hoped to do some welding on the lock gate and 4 boats waiting to come down!!!
Ever wondered how or where dredgings are disposed off?
We head off up the Middlewich Arm to collect a part that Trev had ordered at Venetian Marine and decide that's enough for today. Tomorrow it's Barbridge to Nantwich.
We arrive at Barbridge Junction just as a boat is turn in.....
with a good bit of steering from both crews....collision averted!!!!
Hurleston Junction is always busy as it is where the Langollen Canal meets the Shropshire Union and this boat thought it a good idea to hover in the bridge hole while waiting to turn
We must do the Llangollen again , its beautiful.
Good to see the hotel boats out and about....
and Captain Jack Sparrow!!!!
We overnight at Nantwich.
