And so to Market Harborough

Sam arrived and yes he would undertake the repairs - Whoop Whoop!!!
He advised us to moor in Union Wharf Basin at the end of the Market Harborough Arm where he would do the repairs as soon as.

From Foxton the Market Harborough Arm runs along the side of the hills which dominate the landscape to the south.  The original plan was to build a canal to Northampton but this was abandonded due to lack of funds, leaving a five and a half mile branch.

All facilities available and home to ABC Boat Hire
( at this moment in time maybe thats a better option!!!)

Waterfront Restaurant - lovely location but at £9 for two drinks a tad pricey for the Yorkshire man!!!!

Gremlins reported to cop shop - they are soon to make a arrest!!!

The church of St Dionysius with its ashlar spire,

and sundial bearing this admirable motto.

Market Square

Boasting a Sainsburys,Tesco and Waitrose along with induvidual High St. shops, designer shops and everyday shops its a ok place to be for the duration.
