The Trent & Mersey Canal

Lovely evening on the T & M

Saltersford Tunnel, 424 yards long, far from straight and only wide enough for one boat.

The new lamp is working well.

This idyllic leafy pool separates Saltersford and Barnton tunnels.

572 yards long and single width.

Its now 8pm and time to find somewhere to moor for the night.
