Cowley to Stocker's Lake

First of two locks and we are spoilt by having volunteers to assist us.  Just as well as a problem appears to be brewing....the gates won't close at the top. Every cloud... it makes filling faster!!!

Pleasant lock side cottage and a canalside Bistro further along.

What can I say about the three miles between Cowley to Uxbridge...

MOORED BOATS!!!

Occasionally with a entertainment factor!!!

We spent two nights at Uxbridge as Dave had a blood donor appointment.  We passed the time by sprucing up and photographing  Arkholme. She is now officially for sale on Apollo Duck.

Denham Deep Lock has a super wide sill and is 11ft 1in deep.

The trees are starting to turn.

At last a green corridor

A slalom course alongside the bridge at Copper Mill
We stopped here for water and got rid of the rubbish.

What this I see....a hill!!!

The water level is low in this pound.

Our first sighting of a Egret

A chaotic Springwell Lock, the boat on the left having to be pulled out as its gear box had given up.

We moored up just after this lock and space being at a premium we are alongside Sokai.

5 miles and 6 locks today, Watford tomorrow.
