we aim for Upper Lode Lock in the middle.
Four abreast it is
and under a watchful eye!!!
The confluence with the navigable channel of the Avon soon follows.
The very pretty Avon Lock operated by the Avon Navigation Trust.
We have to buy a separate licence before we are able to proceed onto the River.
