There is no escaping the Palace's impact on us river travellers and we are able to moor right outside.
So we set off to take a look.
The main entrance, alas Fen is restricted to the gardens.
Base Court and Henry VIII's Kitchens
The formal gardens and orangery
The East Front
The fountain.
Always like a horse and cart.
Deck chairs and history lessons
The Royal Haighs
Inside the palace buildings the journey of discovery takes in Henry VIII's apartments , his Wine Cellar, the Chapel Royal, the Georgian Story and the Cumberland Art Gallery.
It is well worth a visit.
