Approaching Batchworth Lock, the arm on the left formerly provided access to a number of wharves, including a brewery and a gas works. Theses days it's access to private moorings and the Ebury Way.
Batchworth was a busy point in its heyday when Stabling was provided.
The building had been refurbished as the premises of the Rickmansworth Waterways Trust
